The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is a cherished tradition in Chinese culture. To make the celebration more engaging, our Plantie executives took on the challenge of making mooncakes from scratch. They then invited our first line managers to participate in a blindfolded taste test.
A variety of mooncakes were crafted, including traditional baked mooncakes and snow skin mooncakes filled with lotus seed paste, red bean paste, and pandan. Adding an element of surprise, some mooncakes featured hidden ingredients such as chili, ginger, onions, and wasabi paste, making the tasting experience even more exciting.
