PLANTIE Group – We are members of Global G.A.P. (Global Good Agricultural Practice) which sells and promotes certified safe fruits and vegetables with international food safety standard in all major retail stores in Malaysia which carries the brand of PlantiEco.
GLOBAL G.A.P. is an international certification for farms which fully commits to food safety and sustainable production. It reduces the exposure to food safety risks through risk assessed references standard based on HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) that begins from the farm management to consumers. Farmers take extra measures on reducing the risk exposure of their produce from all possible sources which may post harmful risks towards the environment and human health. Site hygiene, crop managements and post-harvest processes are well monitored to ensure the produce are safe to be consumed.
Moreover, PlantiEco’s products with GGN labelled will allow consumers to trace the origin through Global G.A.P. website. The GGN number on the label of products will help consumers to identify safe choice of agricultural products which comply with the international G.A.P. standard.
Plantie is striving to increase the number of GAP-certified product items sold at all major retail stores, and to receive support from producers. Plantie will continue conducting a series of measures in addition to those mentioned above, so that the GGN code on products will help consumers to raise their awareness about Global G.A.P. and give more support for further development on more sustainable agriculture and certified safe produce.
